Easy access to skiing and winter time activies: While many metropolitan areas lie an hour or more from the closest ski resort, Boise itself is roughly 30 minutes from it’s closest resort, Bogus Basin. Other popular resorts in the area include Tamarack Resort and Brundage Mountain Ski Resort.
